TT Manufacturers question

Looking to downsize to a travel trailer and I like the floorplan and small-ish size of the Sunnybrook Harmony 21FBS and the Palomino Gazelle G215. My problem is when I navigate their websites to find a dealer in California. I go to the website for a dealer listed, they don't advertise the one I want. Are Sunnybrook and Palomino still in business? If so, any suggestions about finding a dealer or what I should do?

Thanks for any help.

Contact the manufacturers thru their web sites. Or contact the dealer in question and ask them about the specific model you are interested in

Thanks Don and Lorri. I've tried to find out how to contact the manufacturers but can't locate an e-mail or toll-free number. I'm in California and they are in the mid-west. I've found another floorplan (the R-Vision 22QB) and the web gremlims have thwarted me once again. I sure appreciate your help.

I'm thinking that the economic status may have sent many of them out of business.

It is possible that sunnybrook has limited distribution on the west coast - I saw where the nearest dealer to me was in Everett Wa - I live in Portland Or.

You might want to find a similar floorplan in a west coast mfg - like one of the Thor brands (Komfort, AeroLite, Thor etc), Northwood (Nash, Arctic Fox), Forrest River and Keystone.

R-vision markets under several brands of Trail-XXX, the last I heard they were bought by one of the Junction City motorcoach mfgs - Marathon or the other one - so the west coast units are made here on the west coast.

One of the things I told myself after owning a Trail-Lite was that the only IN mfg unit I would ever consider is a Jayco.

Otherwise I will only buy from mfgs with west coast mfg plants.

Thanks for all the good information. Still couldn't connect with Sunnybrook but that might be me. I'll clean up my "cookies" and see if that helps. Checked out Thor and found one that is interesting - Komfort Lite 221LS. I'll take a look at the dealer website. Found another one, the Nash 22GQ that looks good in the pictures.

Thanks again to all for your interest. I knew I could count on IRV2 people!

You cannot go too far wrong with a Northwood product. Both the Nash and the Arctic Fox use the same floor plans. The big differences are the interior fabrics and options. What is optional on the Nash is standard on the Fox. The only thing we did not like about our Fox was that Northwood put most of their money in construction. Interior appointments suffered.

Check the following forum: www.MyRVTalk.com for some pertinent info on the Sunnybrook trailer situation. The forum is populated by a lot of current and former SB owners--myself included. There is also a thread about the Harmony model.
I never had any problems with the '95 and the '02 SBs I owned, but would not be thinking about one now considering most of the current remarks about the company.
