TT purchase help

Anyone know anything about this TT model? My daughter wants to buy one, and tow with a Honda Pilot. It looks to be too heavy for the Pilot. Otherwise it would be perfect with the bunk setup. It looks like a 42% discount.
New 2009 Cross Roads Zinger 26' (26BH) Rear Corner Bunk - 26BH - - New Travel Trailers - Inventory

Thanks for the help.

Not at all sure what the Pilot is rated to tow, but know way would I tow a 26' trailer with that size SUV. She needs to start by checking her owners manual and see what the SUV is rated to tow and then use 80% of that for a loaded trailer weight.

Thanks Ken. That's pretty much what I had told her. I have since found a rating for the Pilot at about half the loaded trailer weight. It strangely listed the boat towing rating higher than trailer towing. That may have something to do with wind resistance?

Most of the smaller vehicles have a note on the tow ratings that place a 35 square foot limit on the frontal area of a trailer. That is a 7' wide trailer that is 5' high which pretty much eliminates the hard sided trailers.

According to the Trailer Life tow guide a 2009 Honda Pilot 2WD can tow 3,500 and the 4WD can to 4,500. The Zinger trailer weights 5,517 dry. That's a non-starter.

that trailer is way too big for a Pilot, try looking at Funfinder or Shadow Cruiser.
