I've gone the TT and Class A route and each have their benefits. I towed cross country (coast to coast) 3 times - no problems. The Classs A is much more enjoyable to travel in due to the view and access to everything on the road. Yes, the A is easier to stop. camp, and go in - plus if you forget to stow something you just walk back and stow it. I kept both for a year, then sold the TT to only the Class A because the TT wasn't getting used (and due to DW's health issues - yes, age related but don't tell her I said that:>) If you go the used motorhome route - you better be able to do the basic work yourself. It's been my hobby and it has kept me busy. Also, Look at both Class Cs and As - don't buy until you both know that you found the right one.
