VIN Issues
I bought a 2005 Gulf Stream bumper pull or at least that is what I was told
The people I bought it from were supposed to send me VIN info and I can not for the life of me find the VIN they completely painted the interior of the camper as well as tore out the cabinets. There isn't a metal plate on the trailer hitch. The ONLY identifying number I have is the RVIA number.
How can I get the VIN from the RVIA number???
And please don't tell me how stupid I am for purchasing this. I already know this was not a great decision. I really just need help. 😣

Did you get the title from the seller when you bought it?
The vin should be on there unless the seller was shady.
Can't help you with finding it on the trailer.

Newer TT's have a VIN label on the tongue "A" frame or on the driver's side near the front.
Mine has a label. Some are embossed into the "A" frame.

Sometimes the VIN is inside the entrance door jamb. On the side of the rig, left front corner, is an information sticker, the VIN is also on it, if they did not remove it.

VINs have been assigned to all travel trailers built after 1954.
It should be permanently affixed to the A-frame, stamped, welded or etched. It is also on the required label stuck on the left front corner. You may need to contact the manufacturer for the location.
It's also on the title you got when you purchased the TT. If you didn't get the title and the VIN has been removed from the TT, there's a good possibility you bought a stolen unit.

I don't think the RVIA number and the VIN are related or cross-referenceable (if that's even a real word )

Most states can help you with this but it will require a DMV inspector to get involved. They can issue a new vin, but you might not like the result.
Hopefully you got a bill of sale or can track down the sellers and get one.

Did you get a title? Is it a Oklahoma title? I’m not sure about Oklahoma but in Kansas if it isn’t from out of state, they just register the title & give you your tag. If it’s from out of state they need to see the VIN on the vehicle. I think most states are that way.
