Washing my new 24ft travel trailer
Outdoor rv gel coated front the bugs come right of with the garden house but the sides and rear need attention, cold water and garden hose is all I got. Going to the car wash is getting very expensive also. I need one of those long handled brushes to clean the high up part. Any advice or ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Not sure what to tell ya here wash brushes are all the same in reality.. Stay away from the ones you hook your garden hose up to unless you spend big money on one, they are so light that when you have them extended out they break. I just buy a good brush from a local store and then go to the pain department and buy the extension pole for rollers. The pole will last forever and my last brush lasted for about 15-20 years until the bristles got so short it was actually useless..

A soft bristle long handle brush, some car wash detergent, and a bucket.
Those with your hose and elbow grease and you are good to go.

I use Wash Wax All for our rig, but twice a year, I do the whole rig by hand.

I use a painters extension pole and a soft bristle brush that screws onto the pole. I use regular car wash soap. Wax twice a year except for the front cap I wax it every other trip. Bugs stick eventually and with the hot sun they are glued on.

That's what I've been using on my motorhome for 20 years.
I do NOT attach a hose. I use Dawn dish soap...works great.

I can clean the 4 sides in less than 2 hours using the short extending blue microfiber wash pad from Walmart and a good quality car wash. I wash my TT more than I wash my truck and never need a ladder. The roof gets washed at least twice a year.

DO NOT USE A PRESSURE WASHER ON YOUR TRAILER!
You can blast water right through/past caulking & seals on wall penetrations. They aren't made to keep out high pressure spray.
Get a good truck brush on an extension pole.

I also use Wash and Wax All waterless wash but only after washing RV in self service car wash first. I boondock fulltime and waterless wash will not handle dirt and dust without real good prewashing first.
For a good cleaning, you can use one of the cleaner wax products. It is labor intensive but it removes grime and oxidation, stuff washing will not remove, from pre-washed RV. There a few companies that make cleaner waxes, it depends on how agressive it needs to be. The last I used was by Griots. For bad spots I use compounds.
