Water leak help
Hello all! I just purchased a 2019 Forest river Salem 29QBLE last week and when I connected the water hose to the inlet I noticed water starting to flood my bathroom. Naturally I turned it off and for now I知 trying to search for the plumbing diagrams for this specific Travel trailer. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I知 guessing I値l have to drop my underbelly to really investigate the leak but I would like a schematic to work with. Thank you to anyone who replies!

your incoming water should come into the water heater area mine comes in at the rear corner where the bathroom is i can pull out the drawers on that side and access the water connections and electrical. in your first picture it shows a panel, what's behind that ? there should be access to the water heater and water connections from inside.

Aphex, are you using a water pressure regulator between your hose and the water inlet? Generally, you don't want the water pressure to exceed 45-50 PSI.
If that is not the issue, then it may just be a water line connection that is loose, or broken, somewhere along the PEX water lines (the red and blue tubes depicted in your photos.) I am not familiar with the plumbing layout in your Salem trailer, but the first troubleshooting step is narrowing down, as best you can, the general area where the leak begins. For example, if it is generally in the area of the water inlet where you connect your hose, the leak may be due to a loose nut for that water inlet connection.
You mentioned that water was starting to flood your bathroom, so it sounds like that is the place to start. Depending on how your bathroom is configured, it could be a leak at the toilet's water connection. OR, if there is a sink in that room, it could be a water line connection to one of the faucets.
Best of luck to you in figuring it out. Please let us know if you determine what caused the leak.

I looked up your floorplan, and it looks like all your plumbing should be concentrated in the middle third of the camp side. The one thing I can't tell is the location of the water heater, but I'm guessing it will be in that same vicinity. I'd start pulling panels and lower cabinet drawers, etc. all along that wall, starting with the bathroom since that's where you saw the water.
I'm going to guess that you won't need to pull the underbelly panels, as the water lines are likely to run above the floor. Should be tucked into the lowest areas underneath the appliances and cabinets.
I know you have bigger fish to fry right now, but judging from the pictures, it might be a good idea to hit your gas lines with a wire brush and some rustoleum.

I just looked at the pics again. Is that water running out of your fresh tank? Like maybe you have a big leak where your fresh tank drain sticks out?
At first I just assumed that you connected the water to the city water inlet, but you didn't specifically state that in your post. Did you connect to the city water inlet, or did you put the hose into the gravity fill for the fresh tank?

Could be loose connection or freeze damage to a pipe
If you want to troubleshoot, without water going all over the place, I suggest you get an adapter for the city water inlet to hook to a air compressor.
Set the compressor to 45 PSI and listen to see where the air is escaping.
The adapter is also handy for winterizing.
