We Did A Thing To Our TT

We had discussed doing this for a while and finally did it.
We took the super uncomfortable dinette out and put in a loveseat!
I had to fabricate some taller legs to go over the wheel well, but that gave us room for storage underneath.
We got some tray tables to eat on and put a little storage container in the corner.
I just used a bungee cord for storage while traveling.
We’re really happy with how it came out!Click image for larger version

I like it, turned out nice! How many of you are using the space? When we bought our TT one of the 1st things I said was we could take out the dinette and put in a love seat lol I haven't done it yet but I am definitely still considering it. Did you buy an RV loveseat or just a standard home loveseat?

We did a similar thing in our MH; took out a crappy sitting "couch" and replaced it with a dual reclining loveseat with storage in the arms - 58" wide - purchased from Overstock.com. One of our best upgrades.

It just the 2 of us, and 2 dachshunds, in an 18 foot TT.
We got the loveseat off of Amazon and it came in pieces that was easy to get inside the trailer.

Ah, good idea! There are 3 of us and 2 dogs. we have one love seat now and the dinette. we have the murphy bed set up and bunk beds in the back, well I took the top bunk out so my son had more room. Im thinking the loveseat would give the dogs a lil more floor space than the dinette.

We removed the dinette in a former 5er and put in a table and chairs. If you donate the table top and cushions and cut up the rest of it there is enough glue in the remains to burn for 1 hours and 45 minutes. And it is a hot fire.
