What about those Dogs?
NO....I'm not talking about Georgia Football..., but I have two cockers and plan on taking them on blood pressure raising adventures with the fam this year.
Really no room in the truck...5/6 of us. Do I stick them in the TT? Sometimes, I think about putting them in the microwave, but my wife and daughter are members of PETA.
Actually, I really do love the girls, but is it alright to keep them in the trailer while traveling, or instead of keeping my wife and daughter in the TT, can I keep the dogs in the trailer...What do you do?
Tom

Before you decide to put the pups in the trailer, you need to load up the trailer and have someone drive you a few blocks with you in the trailer. See how you would like riding back there with no A/C and shaking and moving.
Personally, I would not even make my mother in law ride in the trailer...even if I did not like her.

Point taken...I guess we'll have to get cozy with the pups. We really don't plan on taking them on any extended trips this year, just weekends.
Normally, when they ride in the car with us, they like to lay on someone's lap(like a lapoapso). Occasional stops with walks will probably do the trick!
Thanks

When I had a truck (had a high-rise cap), I put a board (that I covered in carpet) across the wheel wells. I then put the crates on that. I had the slide window, to the cab, open and a fan there so it blew the A/C into the crates. Dogs were comfy there and went all the way cross country (in June) like that and to all my shows (even in high summer).
The good thing is that it (the board) put them up where I could see them and I could slide stuff (in the bed) under the board and did not lose any cargo space.

There is no way in $*&#@ that I'd ever let our dog ride in our fifth wheel!!!
If you don't have room in the truck for them, board them out while you're gone.

Took a long drive with pups yesterday(beautiful day) in cab. Really wasn't bad at all. They just potatoed on the kids' laps. Not bad at all!
