What color of roof vent color??

So it’s time to get new vent covers for my roof vents. On my last trailer I got white maxx air 2 covers. But white doesn’t match my new trailer, so I want to go with black or smoke. Any thoughts to pros and cons to smoke or black? Thanks.

we have a black one for the bedroom...keeps it nice and dark...we have a white one in the kitchen because of the added light!

Our two A/C covers are black so put back on both to keep the “theme”. Additional skylight in bath so no problem and the one in kitchen didn’t matter for lighting. IMHO, I do think the smoke “looks” better.

Does the smoke let much light through? We have one vent in the bathroom and one in the kitchen. Not sure I want to shut out all the light in those areas.

I have 'smoke' vent covers in the kitchen and shower. I'm very pleased with the amount of light they let in.

So it lets in enough that you don’t feel like you’re showering in a cave?

Since I have a light gray trailer, with black trim (black AC, frig covers) I went with the smoke color. Also I hope it would keep more of the UV rays off the roof vent too. I do wax both the Camco and roof vent covers with wax twice a year.

I don't know if the Air-Max changed their design, but the Camco one has only one screw on the vent cover to remove and to vacuum the vent screen inside. My last tt I had the Air-Max and you had to unscrew 4 nuts to get inside the cover to vacuum. I usually vacuum 2-3 times a year.

Smoke is about the same as tinted windows in a car. Plenty of light.

Awesome. Thanks everyone. I’ll go with smoke.
