Installed a new stinky slinky storage tube made out of 6” pvc and a conduit holder kit.

Finally changed the equalizers

Posted a while back that I was going to change the equalizers, shackles and bushings and also change to wet bolts all around. Was on kind of a tight schedule so only took two pics. One is the before partially taken apart and the other is after completion and before remounting tires. Only glitch was that the center brackets are .025" thicker on each leg making the standard wet bolt .050" too short which locks the equalizer up solid. Made a .050" sleeve for each equalizer bolt to extend the shoulder and all worked out perfectly.
Last trailer I installed Equa-Flex equalizers on was like a different trailer after the install. Smoother ride on rough surfaces and no transmission of road joints to the tv. With any luck this will behave the same.

Added some hanging organizers to the front closets

Popped these in the 12"W X 41"H bedside closets. Much better storage use for jeans/tees than on hangers.. and now a few drawers ... for drawers Left room underneath for CPAP as well.

Can't take credit for the idea, it was all DW!

Lol, I just finshed the same thing, except I used Lippert Road Armors, and replaced my leaf springs (old ones starting to sag). New wet bolts too. Haven't gone anywhere yet so no feedback on results.

Got a decent deal on the Road Armors from an open box sale from Amazon Warehouse Deals, $165 shipped. A few scratches but like new other wise, they were never installed. Looked like one got packed "upside down" in the box causing the bolts on one to scratch the other.

I left the three leaf springs alone as they only have about 3500 miles on them. They are overkill anyway as the trailer has a gvwr of 7200 pounds with two 4400 pound axles under it. Gave the tt a new Vizio television to replace the Summit that came from the factory. Now the shows on the iPad can come into play.

My axles are the other way, GVW of 7720 with two 3500lb axles. I changed to a heavier spring, may eventually put heavier axles under it.

My Norcold Fridge gave an "A" error code = No ac voltage. Found a blown 8 amp buss fuse (automotive type glass) on the fridge control board. I didn't have an 8 amp, only a 5 amp, so after checking for grounds and not finding any... I put the 5 amp in and it held.

I will be getting the right fuses tomorrow.

In addition, my home outlet 15 amp GFI trips when I plug it in, when storing the trailer. Hmmmm.... non GFI holds fine. Gotta find the problem. Neutral-hot leg imbalance maybe hard to find. Nothing trips on the trailer, and like I said, non GFI outlet works just dandy.

Thought I was told that since RVs don't have earth grounds, the neutral and common are bonded together, and as a result will often trip GFCI outlets... or am I wrong?

I've never plugged mine into a 15 amp GFCI so don't have first hand experiance.

We've almost finished provisioning her.

In Navy terms, we purchased our trailer in late February. Her sea trials (coming home to VA from FL) followed shortly there after. She then went back in the yard (back of the driveway) to finish fitting her out (any modifications).

This past week we've taken all the non traveling tools out, and have been putting in all the permanent supplies (dishes, flatware, folding chairs, etc.).

We will finish provisioning her (loading food items) today. Tomorrow morning we will put in any last minute items (like CPAP machine).

Then we are off on a short 2 night shake down cruise.

Well it wasn't actually today but I did put a home made slide out tray in my pass thru storage compartment. I used the tracks and rollers from my old garage doors (my Bride tells me I am a packrat, but I knew these would come in handy for something). This slide tray works great and slides out from both sides. Seems pretty sturdy, I strap my 6HP outboard Merc in there and it works well. Here are a few pics of the install...

Garage door track... hmm I think I just figured out what junk in my garage I can use to build my slider. [emoji16]

I need a new garage door, this gives me another excuse!
