Our vibe 272 came with a camper tv and electric jacks, stabilizer jacks, and awning. I bought an E2 and it does a good job.

Equalizers can be noisy, Blue ox is quiet. Little other difference.

The dealer's price was firm and in our price range so I asked for their Blue Ox sway pro to sweeten the pot.

A good deal for dealer, he buys them wholesale; a nice deal for me, it was set up and ready to go when we finished the walk through.

Ours came with a TV, but it's a cheap off brand. I would not let that be a deal breaker, or pay the dealer extra for one if they won't budge.

Our Avenger came with a 32 " TV. I let my dealer know that I had to have a Slide Topper or we would keep shopping. I got the 16' topper at no charge. One dealer said he could let me have either the TV or the topper but not both.

Unless you live in a very remote area, there are always other RV dealers within driving distance, and there is a lot of mark up on RVs. If you don't feel like the dealer is being reasonable, check out the competition nearby.

I have the Equalizer, and have a friend with the Blue Ox. I've towed with both and in my humble opinion, the Blue Ox is a much better hitch. I'm savin' my pennies for one...

Rather than negotiating extras, negotiate on price. You would be surprised how much you can get off of a new travel trailer.

Oh, and I have an equal-i-zer hitch and love it. I've had zero sway and I'm able to get my rig set up perfectly. I don't have experience with others but I'm happy.
