At home, cleaning up after the 3 weeks in Oregon. As I get older, this TT gets bigger to wash and wax. I like to go out when others don't.

Our dogs hate fireworks so every year we come here to escape. The park is very serious about their no fireworks policy.

The nice folks next to us do the same, and recognized us from previous years!

Since we're both retired, we always stay home on holiday 3-day weekends. We can go any time we feel like it, so we leave space those weekends for folks who can't go other times. At least that's our polite version! We aren't fond of CGs busy with lots of children and heavy drinking adults.

Funny and thanks for being polite to those of us that can't get out every weekend. However, we were lucky and chose the road less traveled this trip. This state park has several circular pods with six campsites each. Our pod is just us and one other camper. Very peaceful and relaxing 4th of July.

At home

Took our vacation Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wendsday with two other couples in the Manistee National Forest on the shores of Lake Michigan. Avoided all the crowds, traffic and noise on the 4th holiday. We had a great time and a nice time at our sticks and bricks for the holiday. Happy 4th everyone. May we have many more.

Staying home on the 4th for the first time in my camping career.... With most of our traveling bunch having other plans and the wife recouping from recent surgery we just called no joy on this one...
