I have a dark blue small fiberglass trailer. It looks great when first polished but only last a few months in the Arizona sun and then it goes very bad and I’m getting tired of compounding and waxing every time I go camping. Tried lots of different polishes so don’t need a list of what to try. Thinking of sanding and painting with a roller and brush with a light colored resin based paint. I did a 32 ft. boat many years ago with good results. Any one with recent experience?

Personally, I would spray it using gel-coat or automotive paint, my compressor and a sprayer. I suppose gel-coat could be rolled or brushed, but a sprayer would be a smoother, glossier finish.
