Winnebago 1700bh speaker help

I just bought our families first tt and I want to upgrade the exterior speakers on my 1700 bh.. i can't find the mounting dept for speakers vs if my speakers are surface mounted and I dont want to tear into my trailer to find out.. here is what they look like. Anyone have any suggestions on speakers to use?. If my speakers are surface mount what would you all suggest? Or should I cut a hole and install more traditional marine speakers?Click image for larger version

Those look like surface mounts to me but you should ask the manufacturer or just take one off. Mine came with outdoor speakers I used one time and wish it did not have them. Just one more place water can get in.

I’ve the same speakers on my 28rbds. I’ve never removed them but they appear surface mount. The odd thing with mine is you have to turn the volume up high to get them to turn on and then they work at any volume level. They sound fine to me. Why do you want to change them?
