The Mini Plus 27 RBDS was impressive when you walk in to the opposing slide area with one shallow slide in the kitchen and a much deeper slide opposite. It also has an impressive cargo capacity of over 2,000lbs. It has a power tongue jack and power stabilizer jacks. The tank capacity is on the small side as 1 negative.

It is advertised as 'Ultra Light' but is kinda heavy for a 1/2 ton truck IMHO.

According to the 2014 brochure, it show the 27RBDS as having a dry weight of 5990 and GVWR as 7760. I've upgraded to Load E tires and also upgraded to heavier springs. So I feel good at towing 7000# with just my wife and I. We've been through the "Hill Country" of Texas and hills of New Mexico and had not problems. We even passed F250s towing 5vers with no hiccups. Obviosuly the newer models are heavier than mine.

That 6740# I posted was for a 28DDBH!

I will double check the dry weight of the one we looked at. That would be great if it is under 6,000lbs. dry.

One thing I noticed is the brochure sats dry weight under 6,000lbs. GVWR is 7,700 but CCC is just over 1000lbs. It should be 1,700lbs I would thunk.

I remembered it right. Dry weight was 6,400 with GVWR 8,800.

Makes me wonder what they changed. I know the one at Le Mesa Daytona Beach has power stabilizing jacks and I think a cold weather package.

I know 700 lbs of battery, propane and camping stuff should be enough. Oh, and a few pounds for the Keurig.

I have a 4000# electric jack, twin 30# propane tanks and a metal battery box plus a good collection of cookware of other stuff. Maybe the used heavier building materials. The newer models have a half shower, where I have a full shower. Kind'a puzzling.
