Since the Winnebago Towable division hasn't been around that long (2011), I felt that I should let interested trailer owners know about the great customer service I have received from Winnebago.
Just this week, I decided I really need to replace the power cord that plugs into the tow vehicle. I got sloppy last summer and the cord dragged along the road and chaffed through the insulation and some of the wires. I just cut the cable and intalled a plug and receiver, but I really don't like having one more electrical connection subject to corroion and deterioration. So, I want to replace it with a new cord. I contacted the warranty department about where to find the junction box for the cord...couldn't look for it first hand as the trailer is in storage. Well, an exchange of emails followed and my questions were answered promptly and so politely. I'm going to do a visual check of the trailer on Monday or Tuesday, and then order the replacement cord and get it installed before an upcoming trip.
Prior to this, we went to the factory last summer to have a roof ladder installed. And again, the service was excellent. So, mega kudos to the Winnebago Towable division!!
If you don't know it, Winnebago Towables is a separate division of the company in Middlebury, Indiana which was established when they purchased the Sunnybrook complex.
