Winter storage Level or tilt

Have TT in storage for the winter. Should I store it level, nose down or nose up or does it make any difference. I have been told that if the back is facing south, I should tilt the back down whereas the sun would melt the snow quicker??? Thanks in advance for the discussion. John

I have stored my stuff angled so the water can easily and quickly run off. I also remove the snow when it gets to be over a foot deep.

We typically store a little nose high just to shed water more quickly.

My trailer has a flat roof, so I usually store it a little nose high to promote runoff.

I also level it side to side whenever it's parked. Does anyone else do that? I figure it puts less stress on the roof/wall and wall/floor joints that way. Not sure it's necessary given that those joints get plenty of stress when I'm towing the trailer down the highway. But sitting for weeks or months is a lot more time than a few hours at a time on the road.

Another vote for tilt. Near the front cap my TT has a spot that will hold about an 1/8 inch of water if I don't tilt it.

I tilt mine to the rear. My storage spot gives it a slight slope from side to side also.

I always tilt it nose up just a little....and level it side/side and drop the stab. jacks just to even things out in case of any snow load. Often when camping I 'll also have it ever so slightly nose up so rainwater migrates generally rearward.

I shovel it if the snow accumulation gets above 18" or so.
