Camp stove for RV quick connect

My wife and I recently had a quick connect installed for our motorhome's onboard propane tank. Now, we are trying to find a fairly lightweight camp stove that we can use with that quick connect. So I'm here looking for suggestions. We don't want/need a grill but rather a camp stove. We have a bulky and somewhat heavy Camp Chef stove but are looking to replace it with something a bit lighter that takes up less space and can be used on a table top.

The main requirements are:
* two burners (will consider three if the stove isn't too large or heavy)
* easily able to connect to RV quick connect without $80 worth of parts or accessories - ideally one hose is all
* usable on a table top
* fairly light (under 20 pounds) and not too bulky
* readily available
* has a protective cover and/or available carrying bag for storage

We considered and even bought a Blackstone griddle, but we decided it was much to bulky and heavy for our needs. Nor was it really adequate for the kinds of meals we tend to prepare.

I'm sure other threads have asked and addressed this before, but the ones I found were several years old, and products lines change all the time. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Coleman has a propane cook stove that folds down like the old white gas ones. Except it’s even skinnier. Uses 16 oz bottles, you just need that end or an adapter on the end of your hose.

I don't know if they're still made but I have a converter that converted the old style green white gas stoves to propane. This converter is probably 40 or more years old but it might be worth looking into. Mine is for a 2 burner stove but I'm guessing it would handle a 3 burner stove too. I did find a converter available but it looked like it was for bottle which I'm thinking is not what you want. Good luck.

I'm hoping to just add an extension hose with a quick connect and not have to deal with alterations to the stove itself. It appears that the Camp Chef Ranger series of stoves will connect directly to an RV propane quick connect, at least as far as I can tell. Anyone know of any others?

Are you wanting to tap the lp line before or after the on board regulator?

You might check out the jet boil base camp propane stove. The two burner version is quite compact.

Coleman makes a couple of models that will operate on LP high pressure.

Reason for asking:

Using 2 regulators won't work.

We had an RV shop put in a quick connect. I'm not sure exactly how they did it. (I'll have to see whether the invoice specifies.) They also put in a line tapping into the refrigerator line (I believe) to allow us to use a catalytic heater.

We have a Camp Chef stove (with legs) that we find a bit too big and bulky for our needs. I think we're going to try the Camp Chef Ranger II.

I think this grill would meet your needs...

I have the cheaper single burner that I love!

I have quick connects on everything! Firepit, grill, and blackstone griddle.
I used a $9 brass needle valve in place of the regulator on the grill. If you try to use an adapter on the regulater for the 1# propane cylinders on a regulated supply on the moho, the grill won't get hot enough. There is an adapter made especially to connect the Blackstone to the quick connect from the rv also.
You can see what I mean in the pic.Click image for larger version

You need to be concerned about putting some of these stoves on table tops. I was at Likely Place this summer. They had picnic tables with synthetic tops at a lot of people were damaging them by putting propane stoves on them.

I have a camp chief with legs. I used to use a smaller coleman type two burner stove and grill. I had a one inch thick piece of painted plywood to go under the stove to protect the plastic table tops.
