Campfire in a Can

I bought this online and have used it maybe 20 times at varying levels of output.
I had no clue how much propane this thing would use. I had it near flat out whilst bbq'ing on another "best thing" a weber Q in about 15deg at Grand Canyon South rim.
So I thought I'd better fill the propane tank before putting the coach to bed. I'd never put propane in it in the 2 years I've owned the coach.
It took 13 gals. I even argued with the attendant that it wasn't possible.
So in the future if you see a guy with his "campfire in a Can" with a 3ft flame - that will be me

I suppose those would be nice for restricted areas. I prefer the crackle of the fire burning, just a little ole fashioned I guess. Part of my Scouting days.

Me too, but I found I had not lit one fire in my first 2 yrs of motor homing.
Hence the LPG version.
One additional advantage is that with a large coach, 45ft, any fire ring is a long way from the awning or very near the coach. With the LPG version it's always under the awning.
We only get to use our Motorhome in spring and fall so don't experience the heat but do get some very cold nights.
