Carpet Replacement - Best Type of Carpet to Use - Your Advice

2008 Tiffin Phaeton Class A DP 40'
I will be replacing the carpet in our RV in November
Going to Appalachian Foothill RV Repair/Park in Winfield AL near RedBud
Predominately we have hard floors but have carpet on the Desk/dinette & then in bedroom.
Likely we will replace carpeted areas with carpet just to avoid any problems (slide operation)
I'm not a connoisseur of carpet and I'm aware there are various different types
I'm sure someone has researched this or was a carpet sales person and can provide guidance.
Can anyone provide advice on what type of carpet to get in order to get the good stuff and not have problems?

Our family room takes a beating, the flooring is on cement with minimal airspace in a zone 5 climate. So when the existing carpet needed replacing I used Mohawk Smart Strand and it has served us well for 13 years of hard wear and tear. It was tested in a rhino pen at a zoo!! LOL!!!
