Drain Master Electric Valves

Has anyone installed them on their units and if you have, what do you think of them? How long have them been installed and have you experienced any breakdowns? If you have, how difficult were they to repair/how difficult was it to get parts?

Thank you and regards,

Thank you and regards,
I had several years of experience with them. Very handed, but need to be installed correctly. The motor part needs to be installed in the up position, between 10:00 to 2:00 position. I was not able to position mine in that position because of the shape of my tank. I had to replace my valves about every 14--18 months. You can not clean these valves so once they start dragging you have to replace them. There is a manual way to open and close them so there is a emergency way to use them. How long will they last if installed correctly I do not know.. Safe Travels
