Eternabond but......

Mostly everyone seems to agree that Eternabond is a great way to make some repairs. But everyone says be careful when putting it down because you can't get it back up.
What happens (what are the difficulties) if you have to later repair or replace and item (skylight, vent, etc) that you have used eternabond on?

The Eternabond video library seems to cover how to do almost everything with their product; and do it the correct way.

You can remove it. I made a couple of boo boo's when I first applied it several years ago.
Easiest way is to use a heat gun. As you heat it, you can peel it off. Don't need high heat, just enough to start it, and apply heat as you go along the strip your removing. Any residue left can be cleaned off using mineral spirits and acetone. You can then re-apply it, hopefully with out the boo boo's.
