Ford Navigational Tool
Hi All,
Have a 2024 Ford F250 with built in awesome Navigational tool, “when it chooses to work.” Once I plug in my fifth wheel, it recognizes the height, width, length, weight etc. and plots rv safe routes for us.
Most of the time it works flawlessly. However, twice now while halfway on route a message comes up saying “Route Unsafe For Towing, you may choose to turn off trailer-optimized routing, proceed with caution.”
From this point forward it is impossible to resume. It will no longer function. I have pulled over, come to a complete stop, re-entered the address….no luck. I have tried outsmarting the system and entered a completely different address (nearby) thinking it would resume working… nope.
So I want this functionality in my truck to work but as we embark on truly trips to states we have never been, I can’t count on it.
If anyone has encountered the same and knows a work around. I would be forever grateful for the shared knowledge.
