No problems with leaving it under constant pressure. Been camping with this one for over 200 days so far.

Obviously the forum loves Zero G hoses. But also consider Flexzilla hoses. They don't flatten like Zero G, but remain flexible and don't kink easily. They would solve the problem someone brought up about only rolling out some but not all of your hose from a reel. I have never used Zero G, but love Flexzilla.

I believe you're thinking of the accordion-type collapsable hoses that shrink up when you turn the water off. Folks had a lot of trouble with those. I've never heard of a Zero-G fitting problem!

All we use are Water Right 400 Series.
Durable, light weight, rolls easily, never becomes stiff.

Umm, 1/2" diameter not big enough? Durnit. Well ,um,.....fine, didn't like that hose anyway. Zero-G you guys say, huh? 5/8" then I'm guessing.

It doesn't cause any noticeable difference for us, we've been using this for years in two different trailers.
If it's really as concern, pay a little more for the 1/2" ID option or go big with the 5/8" ID....

The RV & Marine Zero-G hose is 1/2" ID, which is the same as the PEX tubing in most RV's, so there would be no advantage that I can see to buy a 5/8" ID hose. The Garden version of the Zero-G is 5/8" ID. The specs on the two hoses are identical except for the ID.

Checkout the Flexzilla hose. It's a very flexible hose for potable water.

I am in the market for a new hose. I read dozens and dozens of reviews of both the ZeroG and the Flexzilla hoses. The reviews were all over the map and just thoroughly confused me. I would like to read some reviews from anyone who has owned and used both brands.

This is the one tempting me as I can buy it locally at a "Northern Tool" for less than online and no shipping. Not in stock at my most convenient store location but the next one a ways over says they have one. And they can transfer it if I want. Same stores have some utility trailer parts I've been procrastinating too.

The inlet holes at each end fitting of my blue Zero-G RV & Marine hose are 0.393" ID per my calipers, and I haven't heard anyone complain about lack of water volume.
The inlet/outlet holes on the fittings of my 7/16" Water Right hose are the same. And I haven't noticed a difference in flow between a true 1/2" ID hose and what we're using now.
Since you're likely using 3-4 GPM max instantaneous in a trailer I doubt hose ID really matters within reason.
