Fresh water hoses better than Zero-G or Sun Joe

I used the Zero-G hoses until I read about the inner lining disintegrating. I ordered two Sun Joe hoses this spring and the first one started leaking immediately. That was replaced easily with their warranty but that is now leaking as well.

What lightweight/flexible hoses are people using besides these two for fresh water. I may have to revert back to the standard hoses but they can be cumbersome to roll up, kink, etc.

I have been using a Flexilla hose for 3 years now, not a problem. I also have a couple of them at my house, usually under 75 pounds of pressure 24/7, and not a problem.

I have been using two Zero-G hoses for at least 4 years without any problems.

How many people had trouble with the inner hose/liner going bad. News to me.

Another vote for the Flexzilla hose.
Three years and still going strong. Quality built, twist grips are easy to handle and coil up in cold temperatures. Never kinks, never leaks.

Thanks. I’ve seen that at Ace where you can build your own, etc. I’ll take a look.

All of the hoses discussed above do not appear to be appropriate or rated for potable water use, such as what I want to use for drinking water in my RV.

What am I missing here?

Zero G does make a drinking water safe version.

Flexzilla also says drinking water safe.

Been using a 100 ft. Zero-G at home and a 50 ft. in the RV for over 3 years and no issues whatsoever. Never heard of anyone have one disintegrate. I am very happy with mine and wouldn't consider anything else. Chuck

Another happy Flexzilla hose user here, for 8 years on same hoses (some added but none failed).

I know my Zero G is at least 4 years old without any problems. Made specifically for RV and boat applications. Certainly, drinking water safe.

I’ve never tried a ZeroG. I have a Camco blue for normal water connect. Much better quality than the cheap Camco white with blue stripe. The blue is 35 ft, a more robust construction, doesn’t kink easily at all, and has machined fittings rather than the cheap pressed fittings you find on a lot of hoses. Been using it 4-5 years now, no difficulty.
For winter use I have a Camco heated hose. The heated hose itself is fully contained within a substantial blue rubbery sheath. There’s a 6ft power cord on one end and a thermostat on the other. Fittings are machined, and the hose is made with a female fitting on each end. Comes with a M/M coupler nipple, so you can configure it with the plug on either end, for convenience. This hose also is in its fifth year.

+5 on the Zero G. Sits outside in the sun all summer for 4 years and is still in great condition. A little faded but no problems.....
