Looking for options to mount my garmin gps in my chevy truck. Currently has the suction cup mount for windshield, not a big fan. would like something for dashboard.

I'm a fan of RAM products too. I have mounts for two ham radios and a GPSr. They are very secure and adjustable. I use a few parts including this gem; https://rammount.com/products/rap-sba-rgu

outbackmac, this link shows the different dash mounts for my 2015 Silverado.
I have different device mounts for my Samsung S22, and an Apple Ipad Air.
You have to select a mounting base, and then your device.
Have the same system in the DW's 2024 Equinox.
Not cheap, great quality.

outbackmac, on the PRO CLIP homepage, move your cursor over the FOR PERSONAL tab,
and when the drop down appears, go to CAR MOUNTS and at the bottom click on FIND MY VEHICLE and enter your info.
Next go to OTHER DEVICE HOLDERS, and click on GPS HOLDERS and enter your info.
This is the mount on my 2015 Silverado. Yellow arrow is the actual Base that mounts on the Dashboard. The Blue arrow is the Clip that your Device Holder attaches to. The Clip can be mounted Left, Right, Up, or Down.
