Greatest Gadget; saves your sanity!

Just bought a "GB Instruments" Wire-Tracker Model GET-4110K. Home Depot for 39.95. Comes with 5 connectors for all types of wire, coax, tele, ethernet or plain old wire. Works like a snap. Connect the transmitter end to wire, hold receiver tool at or near other end, bingo... lights flash and beeps pulse when within 12 inches of "activated wire. Caution!!! de-energize wire before using! I had to identify source for 6 different coax cables. Worked great and no cussing! Allleyman.

Don't leave home without mine. Especially with all the wire bunches on my Discovery 38. Also have a/c current sensor that is like reciever in Tracker but senses A/C current. Tells you if wires are hot or not. Had put this Wire Tracker model # in earlier post. Hope others see this one. Very useful.

Thanks for the tip! I just bought one on eBay for $21.00 w/free shipping.

I have two coax connections that I can't find the other end of. Now I should be able to locate it!

I use mine at home and in the Class A. There are a lot more wires in my Discovery than my house and my house isn't small. I couldn't work on electric in MH without it.
Hasn't failed me yet. Will also tell if wire is broken, no signal at end of known wire
means it's broken. Spread the word.
