Guta TPMS

Guta has new TPMS that can display 12 tires at once (yes, the picture shows 10). I've used it for a couple of days and it works well. 10 sensor model on Amazon is around $380.

I have no idea how Amazon decides to issue coupons for products but one appeared on the unit yesterday for $120 off. That's $260 for a 10 sensor TPMS with booster.

The other thing I like about this unit is that it allows setting the min/max PSI for the alarms. Tireminder would only allow setting the nominal pressure and then triggered alarms when the pressure changed by more than a fixed percentage (10% if memory serves). I tended to get alarms with Tireminder when the tire was OK but just outside the fixed range. Annoying and distracting.

Also, if you need 10, buy the 12 sensor model so you have a couple of spares in case a sensor goes bad.

For that price you can buy a TST 507 and add sensors for up to 22 tires.

Why would I paid over $500 for a TST 507 ?

I did because I have had cheaper ones that do not last. I'm a full timer and travel thousands of miles a year and I have had body damage from a failed tire when the cheaper TPMS failed and did not tell me of a problem (mine was over heating from a bearing failing (it was a nev-r-lube bearing and yes it was inspected) and the wheel left by way of the back). $12,000 damage makes $500 look pretty cheap.

it is up to you but I personally did not like the display in the earlier picture.
