Hydraulic lift for golf cart

How many have a lift on the DP to take a cart with you and give me the good/bad reviews on doing it. I hear its too much weight for rear axle along with towing a jeep

The info in this post ; including warnings about overloading the rear tires and a formula for calculating rear axle load, will be of interest.

Perhaps a carrier with wheels , rather than a hydraulic lift is in your future.

There is a company (don't remember the name) that makes a small golf cart. Holds 4 folks and has a unit that goes into car hitch. Saw one on a toad in Florida. Only from MFG, and delivered anywhere. Check for small golf carts. Will be back if I find name.

Keep in mind golf carts can be considerably lightened by way of Lithium ion battery conversion (shaving 250-300 pounds off the weight), or by buying one of the new lithium ion powered from the factory models.

Cricket Golf Carts are the “mini golf carts”. We have one and use the VersaHaul ATV Carrier to transport it.
