Induction sauce pan set that stacks 6 1/4 or less

There is a product Ozeri ZP16-3P which is three pans and three lids but no idea how high it is stacked.

Nothing available in the stores and very few product show the stacking height.

I only want sauce pans but if a fry pan is included I can deal with it.

Thanks for considering my query.

These are popular

I haven’t been in a Camping World store in a couple years, but they used to stock them. Also available through dozens of internet vendors.

Thanks for the lead. They specify the storage volume but not the height. If camping world stocks them at least I can go in and measure.

1/2 a cubic foot space is what that link says. I know it doesn't take much. Mine are in the coach in storage so it may be a bit before I could give you exact measurements. Mine are the stainless and I love them.

The magma pots and pans nest in each other. I have a set on my boat and RV. They are about 7 and 1/2 in tall. The lid is actually the frying pan. You said you did not need the frying pan. If you did not use the frying pan in the set it would be less than six and a half inches tall.

So close. I have 6 3/8 maybe 6 7/16 but definitely not 6 1/2. Maybe I'll get some info on the Ozeri set and it will fit.

I measured my magma pan set without the frying pan and when nested the total height is between 6 1/2" and 6 3/4". If, however, you remove the stock pot lid the height is only 4 1/2". You could just store the lid somewhere else for the rare occasion you will need it.

On another note, I'm less than happy with my magma pans. They work great for a few months, but then the ceramic coating appears to wear off. Had to throw away my frying pan, because everything stuck like glue no matter how much oil I used or how low I kept the flame. I switched to using my stock pot and now it's sticking. You can see that areas of the pot are dull. And yes, I've only used plastic or silicone utensils and made sure never to overheat the pans. Not sure if I got defective pans or they're just overpriced junk.

Thank you so much for the measurements and the feedback. Looks like I'll skip those pans given the sticking issue. We will be using them alot and that doesn't sound good.

I really didn't want a whole set anyway. I have everything but a 6 to 8 quart saucepan.

Magma sells stainless steel pans with no nonstick lining.

I have the induction pans with the so called world's best nonstick coating. Still sticking. I still kinda like the pans, but am disappointed.

Without straying too far from the topic, if you really need a nonstick pan (which, to me, are worthwhile only for eggs) there are thousands of them available at every price level. For non-induction cooktops, the aluminum T-Fal pans are high-quality and very durable.

We are an all-electric, induction-only household, and are working toward having the RV be the same. In my experience, there are three high-quality options available for induction cooking, Analon, All-Clad, and Euro-market T-Fal.

I used a set of Analon pans for several years before the combination of too-skinny handles and heavy weight became too much for my arthritic wrists. The bonded steel bottoms are very heavy. The nonstick surface was still intact and very effective when I gave them away.

I now use All-Clad fry pans, which are lighter weight, with thinner bottoms, and have a slightly rougher texture on the nonstick surface. I like the shape of the handles and the light weight. I think that the All-Clad nonstick is less durable than the Analon, though I’m sure that it will survive egg frying for many years

Last, T-Fal makes induction-compatible nonstick pans for the European market, which you can buy through Amazon, eBay, and possibly some other etailers. These have a steel layer bonded to the aluminum pan, just like the Analon. The nonstick surface is the same as the all-aluminum T-Fal that is available at many USA stores.

My non stick induction pans are cast iron. I have a big skillet and a small skillet and a dutch oven. An egg slides around those things so well it can be hard to get a spatula under them. Best of all there is no coating that we have yet to learn is somehow toxic on them.

The dutch oven is no good for popcorn. The biggest problem is the steam burns my hands even with mittens on. It also is a bit heavy for vigorous shaking and is a little slow to get hot.
