LED Lighting System
I was at Costco the other day and found a package of 6 LED puck lights with remote control and dim button. The price was only $30 so I couldn't resist. I installed them the other day in various places in the MH and they are great for ambient lighting especially when viewing the TV at night.
They stick on with pressure sensitive adhesive and can be moved easily. They take 3 AAA batteries each that are included for a total of 20 batteries. As little wattage as these take, the batteries should last a long time and the lights should last almost forever. I'm very pleased with a low cost addition to the MH. Thought you all might be interested.

What a great, inexpensive and easy to do addition.
I'm a big fan of indirect lighting and have used 120v rope lights which I like but were far more expensive and difficult to install.
Can your lights be dimmed?

I love that idea and may have to copy it. We saw them at our Costco too and I was tempted to buy them for the SH and didn't even think of the RV but going to head there this week for them now.

The remote has a button for a dim setting (not linear) and each light can be turned on or off independently and separate from the remote. The remote also has a holder that can be adhered to a surface so I put it near the door so when coming in after dark I can switch them on with one button. I can also take the remote out and move around the MH with it.
Earlier this summer I also replaced my outside door porch light with a motion detector LED porch light so when I approach at night, it comes on and I can see to put the key in. Also, if anybody shows up after dark, the light comes on and I can see who it is. I got this idea from this forum and am really glad I installed it.

I too bought a set of these and installed them under cabinets around the living area for lighting when dry camping so we don't tax the batts. I put one under the right entertainment cab above the entry, two under the kitchen cabs and three spaced evenly under the left slide cabs.
Works so well that I then bought a second set and added another to the kitchen under the micro, another to the main area under the hutch cabinet and paired them to the main group, two under the bath vanity cab and two under the bed overhead cabs.
I placed the main remote next to the entry door and the other on the side of the hutch before the vanity area. Nice to have two seperate zones when needed. An the batteries do last quite awhile! All for $60!! Best thing is you have decent lighting when dry camping without worrying about the batteries.

Are they wired remotes or wireless? If they are wireless they may go through batteries quickly.

These use AAA batteries. They really aren't intended for continuous use and say so on the package. We will use them occasionally when watching TV and if boondocking would use them about the same maybe a bit more. I have 2 6v coach batteries and a generator for the heavy elec. loads. The LEDs draw very little watts so AAA batts. should last at least a year for our use. Batts. are also included in the package.

I've had them in for a month now probably and use them when needed dry camping. Obviously they are not going to last forever being battery operated but to date i've only replaced batteries in one so far, I'd say that's pretty good. The expectation is not for continuous lighting but as an as needed solution. I've left them on for up to three hours to date continuous.

I don't have the package so I'm not sure. However, my guess is that this package and price point was specifically designed for Costco. Sometimes what is sold at Costco even from major brands is not produced or packaged for any other seller. They are not on-line either. If you have a friend or relative within range of a Costco, they might be willing to get them for you.
You can "pair" up to 24 lights onto one remote or split them up.
