Is the MH propane line high pressure or low pressure? If it is low pressure did you need to remove the regulator from the Weber?
Thanks,

Thanks,
Ours is low pressure. The Weber regulator will unscrew then can be replaced with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TZKKJQG/

Another vote for the Weber Q series. Our first was a 1200 model, still going very strong after 8 years. Perfect for 4 people, can do meals for larger crowds but you will likely have to cook in batches if doing things like steaks and potatoes. (We often camp with family so there are days I’m cooking for 4, but also cooking for 9 in the same trip). We also had the griddle inserts which convert 1/2 the grill to a griddle. The grill runs on the little green bottles, I had converted the grill to run off my RV”s built in propane port, which is a “low flow” port after the RV’s built in regulator. Lots of kits out there, I was very happy with this one https://torjik.com/weber-q-grill-com...on-kit-8-hose/. They do sell with various hose lengths, and I also bought a longer secondary hose as well.

Earlier this year I upgraded to the new Weber 2800. This unit is larger (which helps now that my immediate family and extended family we camp with has a number of teenagers. The grill is also designed for a snap in griddle that essentially converts the grill to a full griddle. Not quite a Blackstone, but 90% the same and you still have a full grill option as well. The 2800 is designed to run off the larger propane tanks, so the regulator is built into the hose. I was able to run it off my RV’s built in propane port by simply connecting one of the hoses from the kit I had for the old Weber.

Very happy with the series, well made, cleans up easy and consistent heating across the grill, no hot spots. I had a minor issue when the new one arrived as a plastic part on one of the shelves had broken either during packing or transit. I glued it (and it’s actually still going strong despite it not being my best glue Job) but reached out to Weber via their website. Within 24 hours a new shelf went out via priority overnight. They also asked for pictures in order to help look at improving the packaging as the 2800 is new this year.

The original 1200 is now our home grill. Only thing I just had to replace was the igniter button, a plastic retainer clip on it has become brittle and snapped this year when I replaced the battery. $11 on Amazon.

We mostly do dry camping as a couple and when doing so, we usually cook outdoors using our light weight and portable Camp Chef Everest 2X Stove (with our Lodge Reversible Griddle), which is a 2-burner propane design, has piezo electric ignition and provides 20,000 BTU capability at each burner. We operate this stove using either small propane bottles or directly from our Casita trailer dual 20 pound propane tanks as desired.

When dry camping with family and friends, we usually use our Camp Chef Explorer 14 System which is a 2-burner propane design and provides 30,000 BTU capability at each burner. This system enables having burners, BBQ unit, griddle and pizza oven. We operate this stove directly from our Casita trailer dual 20 pound propane tanks as desired.

And to provide convection oven cooking capability without taking up much space or using much weight, we use our innovative Swedish design Omnia Cooktop Oven which we absolutely love as it vastly expands our camping menu options.

In our kitchen inside our small Casita trailer we have a 240VAC 3,500 Watt 2-burner induction cooktop and a 2-burner propane cooktop that we use in bad weather or when we have a 50A hookup.

I bought a 21" from princess auto when it was on sale for 70 bucks, works awesome for two people. for much more you have to thing about how you want to cook stuff instead of all at once. I was unsure about the idea of a griddle but the price let me try it and now I don't know how I lived with out it in the camper haha
