Onan Diesel GenSet Spark Arrestor Clean out

Just did my spark arrestor cleaning on my 10 kw Onan genset. Its a Basement Model and one heck of a problem to get too. Just to think every 500 hours I get to do this again.

Not to mention the Dust and smoke while running it .
My guess is most on here never provide that part of required Onan service as indicated in the manual.
Kudo's to you for reading the manual. Do mine every 500 to 700 hrs.

Since I have a 2000 Beaver Marquis, my genset is a basement mount not the front slide out system. Had to remove several panels so as to even access the muffler. Installed a metal flex line and plumed it to the lower genset frame with metal ball valve . So next time I have to service it I just open the ball valve under the coach and it will blow out the sealed genset enclosure. 1 minute service next time not all DAY.
