Joe, I never changed the original holder that came with the MH. It was the same color and has not failed. You'll never notice the difference in colors as your eyes will be shut while enjoying it .

Joe,

Here is the web site link to where you can purchase the Pin Mount that goes into the wall for the shower head holder to sit on. it comes in four colors.

Kingston Brass K171A Pin Wall Mount Bracket

And using the same vendor, here is the link for the shower head holder which will fit onto the Pin Mount above that also comes in four colors.

Kingston Brass K172A Brass Swivel Connector for K179A

Now I am sure that one of those colors would work for you so you can now buy the Oxygenics Shower Head of your choice which comes with the BEST Lifetime warranty I have EVER had.

I would recommend using Amazon for the purchase of your Oxygenics Shower Head. They carry a variety of models to choose from. My favorite is the Evolution model because of the different spray patterns, the head rotation, etc.

Remember, in most cases Google is your BEST friend.

I put the flow valve near the faucet end of the hose ans she then fits in any holder

Thanks Richard! I appreciate you doing the legwork for me! Now refresh my memory. Does the shower head come with the correct hose that will fit the connector above and screw onto the tube faucet? Also, will the shower head fit directly into the connector without any adapters? Thanks again!

Joe,

Yes they do. I have attached photo's of mine.

I have since removed the push-button shutoff valve that you see at the shower control. The hose then attaches directly to the water spigot under the Delta handle. I found that the push-button shut-off valve worked too dang hard and it was easier to shut off the water using the Delta handle when having an abbreviated Navy shower.

The other end of the hose screws onto the swivel connector followed with the shower head which screws onto the other end of the swivel connector.

Good luck!

I looked up the order on my Amazon account and went directly to Oxygenics. The nice lady there said it didn't matter whether I could see it or not, more than likely, it was a hairline crack and to send her a picture and she would immediately send me out a new one. Might have been the differences in the MH pressure and the S&B pressure she said, but whatever, they are replacing it.

I checked the new white one after I installed it in the MH, it matches better, and it works great!

Anyway, she said the Oxygenics products have a lifetime warranty. I didn't realize that but am very happy about their immediate response to the issue so far.
I received via fedex overnight yesterday my replacement Oxygenics nickel
shower head....

Excellent service. Here! Here!

The wife just tried out our new showerhead for the first time and gives it her Stamp Of Approval. Which is WAY better than the Stamp Of Disapproval.

Richard, my MH, even though the same model and year a yours, has a totally different shower. Mine has a tub/shower with the diverter faucet on the top of the tub. Do you think the hose that comes with the head will connect to the tub faucet OK? Also, I want to change out the tub faucet, but have been unable to find a good quality faucet in polished brass that mounts to the top of the tub and not on the wall. Any ideas?
Thanks for your help!

Ah...Yes..I see your dilemma. I guess it depends on where the water comes from for your current shower head. If it is similar to a house tub setup, here is what I would do.

Simply remove the shower head from the pipe which should be 1/2 inch pipe threads. Screw on the new shower hose to the pipe where the old shower head use to be . Then route the hose over to the new handheld shower which would be mounted on the new pin and holder I previously showed you in an earlier post.

If the water comes from the tub spigot then it has to travel a fair distance up to where the shower head should be located.

Is it possible to post a photo of your current configuration?

That would also give me a better idea as what you are dealing with and what you may use to replace the existing faucet with a polished brass unit. Also, I am assuming that you have access to the rear of the tub valve for replacement?

Any faucet you can buy at a home improvement store or plumbing supply will work, it doesn't have to be made for an rv.

I too put on a Body Spa in white (no spots) recently and had to get the Oxygenics holder for it as the existing one didn't hold it well. If you use the Oxygenics wall mount with the body spa you have to move the valve from the wand to the faucet as it doesn't fit with it up top. No complaints, works perfectly and plenty of flow as well as water savings.

Technique for showering--

Hey Guys and Gals--

If you really want to save water, here is a "technique" I now use.

Get one of these shut off valves (or use the Oxygenics supplied one) that "WheelingIt" described. When you first get into the shower, go full open to get soaked down good, THEN push (or turn) the shut off valve to the partially opened position- now you can soap and lather down forever (if you so desire). Then open the valve to rinse off. Easy huh?

"Technique" comes into play in many things in our lives-

We all have to thank "MonacoMama" for starting the thread on this product in this forum some years ago.

Thanks MonacoMama!!
