RV Pro 10,000 softener
If you have one of these, what type of salt are you using? Have you found one that works better than another?

2 boxes- the round cardboard containers- of table salt should recharge it. We have a similar size ABC softener and it works fine.

Thank you all. I was not sure if we should be using rock salt or table salt.

It also helps to add a few teaspoons of Super Iron Out to help clean the resin bed.

Of course everyone is free to use what they want but a disclaimer might help.
I can't imagine "Super Iron Out" is designed or recommended for use in potable water systems?

My On the Go softener does suggest adding iron out during regeneration in high hard water locations.

As a friend to all RVers, Dunner, used to say, "Google is your friend". If you don’t have your unit's manual I'd search online for the recharging instructions for your softener. That's what I plan to do before heading back to Arizona next Fall.

salt
We have the same unit, It works great and you will need just plain table salt about 2lbs will do it. Been using our from Ohio to Florida and in between places. It is great having the same feel in the water in different places
