Snap Pads Review
I am considering purchasing a ser of Snap Pads for the leveler feet on my Monaco Knight DP. If you use them, please comment on your level of satisfaction. Do they stay on? Are they large enough to not have to also place another pad under them? Any drawbacks? Best feature?

We were early adopters of Snap Pads and liked them on our 5th wheel. No maintenance on our part, all we did was put them on with soapy water.
Right now they don't have them for the MH, when they do we'll most likely get them.

We've had them about a year now and they are great. A much larger footprint when leveling and I don't think we've ever added anything underneath them. Take your time installing them and have a 1 x 4 with you in case one side won't pop on. I think this is shown in one of their videos.

We've had ours on our 36' DP for over a year now and absolutely love them.
Can't imagine life without them

Many threads on this. Most people like them. On mine, I find that they fill up with road dirt and gravel and when wet fill up with water that does not drain out. My guess is that the metal feet will rust out prematurely with all the moisture. Nice to have but I would never get them again.

Great addition. They save my OA knees from having to get low to place the old pads. No problem with water retention, but if I did a small weep hole in bottom middle would solve that problem.

Work great, easy to install and don't come off. I recently had to replace a jack and had to remove one and install on the new jack. It took a little bit of work and two pry bars to remove off the damaged jack. Great product!

Put mine on last summer. Love them. Don’t have to get on the ground anymore nor take up valuable storage space. Have never had to put anything else on the ground under them. They stay on permanently. He’d to change my metal feet as my original ones were bent and the pad wouldn’t snap on. Snap Pad customer service was a great help. I suggest you call them to verify which Snap Pad you need for your RV, they have several versions and sizes, before you order.

Count us as early adopters when they came on the market, and are extremely pleased. However I will give everyone a hard learned lesson suggestion: periodically check the bolts that hold the footplate of your leveler to the piston. We lost a foot plate and a snap pad as a result of a bolt working loose. When we checked the other ones we found that each of them needed tightening.

We love ours also... although we did have one park tell us we still had to put something down under them. I tried to explain what they were, but it wasn't worth the breath with the guy in the golf cart that led me to my RV spot, so I put down the plastic under the snap pad... Whatever!

We have these on our toy hauler. We really like them and they save on getting down to place extra boards under the jacks. I had one come off once from when I drug the jack on the ground. But it was easy to reinstall and no damage to my jack.
Yes I would buy another set.
