Thetford Smart Tote

Has anyone used the new model they sell in Camping World. I have been using a very old portable tank with two rear wheels and no front wheels, the sewer hose detaches completely. The new models have small front wheels and an attached handle for towing with an on board sewer hose. I have read the reviews posted from consumers on the Camping World web site and some were very poor reviews.

From what I have read on iRV2 and other forums is that most people were disappointed with them. In general, people prefer the Barker Blue Tote, normally called the "Blue Boy". You can do a search on this forum using the terms, blue boy or blue tote and read all about it. Also do a search on Thetford Smart Tote to see what people are saying.

I personally have a 32 gallon Blue Boy with modified air vent and rear wheels.

We have the 18 gallon one but with the metal handle so it's a tad older than the current ones but it works fine for us and so far has been easy to use and easy to drag then dump. We currently are using it a good bit since we are in dry to full rotation for the winter.
