Well, it is finally starting to get warm and in preparation for the summer camping season, I figured I'd test a few things in the trailer prior to filling the water tank.
Well, here is what I'm up against at the moment:
I have a 99 Skyline Layton 30' trailer and I'm thinking the toilet has been replaced at some time in the last couple of years or so as it looks to be an almost new unit.
It has the hand/finger type flush levers on the right back of the toilet.
When I pull the white "rinse" lever it pulls all the way forward just fine.
However, when pulling the gray "flush" lever it comes forward about 2/3 of the way and stops. But the bottom flush valve/flapper does not move.
Does it appear that there is an issue with the mechanical part of the flush part of the toilet or does it require water pressure to open it?
I haven't put water in the TT yet so I haven't pressured the system up yet to test this and asking to see if I need to pull the toilet apart or what?
Thanks in advance for any assistance on this possible issue.
