Tire Patrol Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Good day all:

I'll be adding a TPMS system to our Class A & TOAD. Does anyone have experience with the Tire Patrol System by RVi?

Thanks in advance,

I use the RVI 3 braking system. It is mechanically a great system. Their tablet is junk. I would not trust any tire monitoring system that uses their tablet.

TST or Tireminder are your best bet.

I also use the RVi brake system and love it... I have also used the Tire Patrol TPMS system thinking it would be one less screen that I would need to monitor on the dashboard, since I could use the RVi tablet...

Although the tablet has worked well for me, I always seemed to have issues with one or more of the tire sensors staying connected. Also, you cannot change the batteries yourself, you have to replace the entire sensor, and they only last about a year. RVi recommends that if you are not going to be traveling for any length of time, that you remove the sensor so as not to drain the sensor batteries. In my opinion, that was a major inconvenience.

I ditched the Tire Patrol and switched over the TST system with the flow through sensors. It has worked flawlessly.

I have no experience with the Tire Patrol System by RVi.
I currently have a TST TPMS and am satisfied.
You may want to search irv2 for other reviews. Here is a link to one:

Haven't found many positive reviews for their TPMS System. Battery replacement (send the sensor back to the manufacturer) seems to be a common complaint.

I had a tire minder that gave me trouble. Company tired to make it right but there was always some problem.

I bought the TST TPMS and love it. I especially like the flow thru sensors which can only be installed on metal stems which I have on my motorhome. It allows you to check tire pressure without removing sensors and is a game changer.

I use the RVi entire system, brake, battery charger and tire patrol for 3yrs and we're full-time so we use it a lot. I've lost a tire connection once and a while on long trips but they reconnect in a minute or so. They have recently offered an upgraded antenna for the hub for $10. since installing haven't had a dropped tire connection since. I really like the entire system with 1 monitor for tire, towed battery status, braking and even for leveling. The customer service is always excellent.
