Water damage repair.

I'm sure other folks on here have experienced the warped wallpaper whether it be from a leaky roof, window or a window left open.

So interested if anyone has found a good way to fix this condition beyond actually replacing the wall board. My first RV had some damage that even after the leak was fixed you have the constant reminder that a leak occurred.
I removed all the trim and window frame then removed the thin luan and made sure the leak was fixed. I then replaced insulation, Luan, and trim. This was a long process and probably the right way but for smaller wrinkles caused by a window being left open. Any suggestions?
