I'm sorry you are so dissatisfied with your Ranger. As the WiFiRanger ambassador to the RV community I would be happy to assist. Please PM me your name, contact information and the ID number of the Elite you are having problems with. I would like to determine who you dealt with when you contacted our corporate office.

As for problems making and retaining connections, I suggest you update the firmware to the 7.0.8 version that was released in July.

I would also be interested in knowing how you were trying to use the MultiWAN feature. It can be used to achieve several very different objectives. Some uses can be more problematic than others. I would be interested in the details.

This is a follow up on my problem with WIFI Ranger, as I told your before I was having a problem the signal inside my RV was getting dropped. I called for support but they could not find anything wrong. I have had installed a cable WIFI to my RV. I set the system up to run my TV on the cable 10baseT and the WIFI Ranger for my computers. I have lost the connection several time to my computers, so I have shut down the WIFI Ranger. Because it seems that the WIFI Ranger is the problem with the home network. I now have everything connected to the cable WIFI. So I will no longer recommend the WIFI Ranger as a good option for home networks.
Best Regards
Larry

Purchased a WiFi Ranger direct from them. To date they have not offered to resolve my problem while upgrading per their program.

From emails to them...

You've had an update to your case GOac no work after upgrade to 7.08 (# 9181) on 2019-11-06 22:02:17:

Currently I am traveling in Florida and any receipt I would have would be at home, I will not be back there for 6 mos.
I purchased the WiFi Ranger Elite from you and I would hope you would have a record of the purchase.

Hi, upgraded to 7.08 on Elite system and now cannot access or see any broadcast to system. Was working fine with 7.07 until upgrade. Upgrade went fine according to page. Went to 100%. Instructions said click here if not back to main page after 10 min…waited 30 min. and nothing not even showing up on list of available networks. GOac loads all lights flash but only pwr light is lit blue. Light next to pwr is lit white as before upgrade.
As Instructed by support I performed a reset twice.
Need to resolve, thanks for your support.
Rob

I have had no response from these people since they tanked my system, no help. Support said they were turning over to RMA dept. I have had no contact attempt by them since doing as instructed by support. Have written support twice in last 10 days with no reply.
So far totally disappointed with their service.

Hi Rob:

I've forwarded your post to WiFiRanger management and have requested a response as to why you haven't been contacted by the RMA department. They should be in contact by Monday at the lastest.

In the future, if you have issues with a WiFiRanger product that you can't get resolved, feel free to PM me with your contact information. This holds true for any other forum users who are WiFiRanger customers.

This was my second purchase from WiFi Ranger after my first Go system failed after 5 yrs. and I thought this was a good upgrade. Just disappoints me that no one has contacted me after doing the reset (twice) as requested by support and supplying information as requested. Did not have my proof of purchase with me, but come on...I purchased from them and they have a
record or should.
Having been an RV dealer for over 40 yrs. and building my first computer in the '80's, I can't believe they can't send me a way to flash this brick either usb port or ethernet port, or better yet just send a new unit. Nothing wrong with the upgrade to the firmware, no power fails, no nothing...the upgrade firmware just failed and bricked my GO2 AC system. As I told them working just fine before the upgrade.
Just a bit disappointed, after spending over $700 for this and their upgrade failed ...hope it works out as it should.

Thank you for your help, docj.

You were sent an email an hour ago (I saw a copy). The RMA manager is supposed to be in touch on Monday. If you haven't received an email from Stephen Luper, please check your Spam folder.

Anybody know what has happened with the VaporWare called Wifi Ranger Everest product? I spoke to the WiFi Ranger folks in December and they told me it would out in early January.... I guess I forgot to ask what year. I really want to try that system out to see if it works as well on LTE as I hope it will.

The WiFiRanger Converge product line came to market roughly 60 days ago. A couple of items are scheduled for release over the next few months. I'm not sure why you are calling them vaporware, but they are very much in the process of being finalized.

The Spruce, Aspen and Everest routers all use the same quad-core processor and run the same firmware. Spruce is already in use by quite a few customers and reports are that it is performing well.

Well lets see, I've only been working in technology for 40+ years and any time a manufacturer announces a product and market's it as "Coming Soon" for about 4+ months it falls in the category of vaporware. You can thank Microsoft for that as they were the leaders in vaporware. Just asking when the Everest Converge LTE/WiFi router is actually going to be sold? That all.

Rather than providing a tentative date, it's probably best that you wait for a formal announcement.
