Wind or Vibration sensor for Awning

I bought this: Carefree (SR0093) 12V Direct Response Upgrade Kit. I installed it. Now I cannot find any instructions on how it is supposed to operate. Has anyone here used one of these if so how dose it function? Thanks for any help you can provide Alvin

My carefree came with the little black box at the motor that senses motion and retracts the awning. Mine works.

It is a small black box with a motion sensing switch. You have to have it all wired in per the instructions. If it senses motion on the awning, it closes the switch to retract the awning. It works pretty darn good. Mine came stock from the Thor factory.
