Winegard or other lte/Wifi extenders. Do they really work/help

Just purchased a 2021 Heartland Mallard which came with the Weingard Air 360 antenna and prewire for their $400 Gateway product which claims to add lte boost, wifi boost, and lte networking uplink.

Now, in my previous trailer we did a lot of voodoo off our phones with hotspot mode etc.. but it was a tremendous hassle. If the Winegard tech works (Higher antenna, broadcasts a simple ssid and setup and would work for the Chromecast/smart TV/ etc) and it avoids me putting more stuff on the roof and holes, it might be worth it.

What are your reviews for those of you that have either the Gateway or the ConnecT 2.0?

I do not find it useful so use my cell phone's hot spot or rv park wifi. My understanding it requires a data plan for 4G LTE service.
