12 V TV Usage and battery drain

I am looking at buying a 12V TV to supplement my end of day entertainment options while boondocking. I know I can't run the coach TV off the inverter for more than an hour or so without getting concerned about battery drain. I believe running a 22" TV off the coach batteries via 12V cigarette lighter port would be a better option. True? or am I off base here? Can anyone estimate how many hours one can run the 12 V TV per evening and not worry about draining the batteries? I am considering this Supersonic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0066ACQKU...=1W4UI6CQUZ03U
Anyone have experience or recommendations for a 12V RV TV? Thanks in advance.

Juice?

According to this guy a modern LCD TV uses about 1A. Conservatively, for a 12V TV, that would be about 12W.

Assuming 2X 6V batteries, you will have 265Amps to play with. BUT you will only want to drain them to 50%. So, not including losses, you can use down to 116A or so.

IN THEORY, if you didn't use your batteries for anything else, you could estimate that you could watch TV all day and then some. Maybe 12 hours or so.

Someone check my math.

Here are a couple of charts I made for myself on power consumption. Hope these help.

Battery SOC may read as high as 13.7VDC at rest, but will drop quickly when
a load is applied to the batteries.
Battery SOC Total Volts Amps Used Amps Remaining
100% 12.72 0 116
95% 12.60 19 97
90% 12.48 40 76
80% 12.36 58 58
70% 12.30 70 46
60% 12.18 87 29
50% 12.00 116 0
116ADC is total energy budget before 50% SOC

Device Watts Amps Hours
Incandesent Light bulb 60 5ADC 23.2
Roof vent fan 10 2ADC 58
LED Light bulb 10 . 83ADC 140
Cell phone charger 10 0.2ADC 580
Radio 10 0.83ADC 140
Laptop charger 300 25ADC 4.6
DVD Player 20 1.7ADC 68
32" LCD TV 125 10ADC 11.6
Stereo 80 6.5ADC 17.8
