Mobley updated to VM6200V1.0.3
Will it work in a Velocity MF923?

Will the Velocity be able to take a sim lock code, if I get the PUK and change the code to a known # ?

Too bad Sprint’s coverage is so poor that it doesn’t matter much.

It might matter to people in Sprint’s coverage area that don’t want to spend $60+ a month.

After I moved my sim card to the Netgear 815S I never utilized the 5 ghz for wifi. I got a new tablet that has 5 ghz as well as 2.4 ghz. I set the 815S for both bands. My new tablets is getting between 50 to 60 mbps using 5 ghz compared to 15 to 25 using 2.4 ghz. I also set up my Sony TV for 5 ghz and it is much faster also.

Just got rid of my Verizon Mifi device - $70 a month. Using Visible service (Verizon) with an iPhone 8. $40 a month for unlimited phone, text and data. Data limited to less than 6 mbs, but that works for me.

We're looking at getting the Verizon Jetpack with unlimited service for $65/mo. Is there any advantage to the Jetpack MiFi 7730L ($199) over the Ellipsis MHS900L (was $149 now $49) ?

We currently have several iPhones and iPads on AT&T's Unlimited & More Premium plan, but are looking for a Verizon solution when AT&T isn't available and I like the idea of being a pay as you go service.

The 7730L is much more capable than the MHS900L. The MHS900L is waaaaaay below the 7730L in capability and speed. It only offers. 2.4ghz Wifi while the 7730L has 2.4 and 5.0 ghz wifi. You want both in your RV. When you use your in RV devices on 5ghz wifi (not to be confused with 5g cellular) you'll have a much faster connection.

But if you're buying go for the 8800L, it's their newest and is much more capable than the 7730L. Of special note is the extra bands the 8800L receives. It's much more capable for the future.

I recommend you check out https://www.rvmobileinternet.com for LOTS of info on this stuff. And you'll see about 1/2 of the info if you don't pay to join. I joined 2-yrs ago and while I was hesitant to pay for a website I've saved much more than 4 times the cost to join.

Bought a a device - not part of any plan - it's $199, just like the 7730L.

You purchase these - without a contract. And then purchase the plan you want, which if you RV and want truly unlimited data you get the Pre-Paid $70 plan ($65 on auto pay). Just put the SIM in the device and you're all set.
