This plan is no longer (by a couple years ) available. So the question is moot, but its subject to "network management" so on a busy tower you "can" be brought to a lower speed and de-prioritized. In the years I've had it I can't remember it not working normally, but if I'm getting 20mbs and they deprioritize me to 10 I might not even know as I can still stream fine. when traveling I was using 100-150g

IN the 2.75 years we used it full-time in the RV I think I was deprioritized 2 or 3 times. The only time we really had any issues with it was when we were in a park in Orlando with about 1100 other campers and a couple housing developments surrounding the park. The nearest cell tower was far enough away and serviced enough of an area that the tower slowed down for everyone not just us. We typically used 100+ GB/ month.

I wanted to take advantage of their 30-month installment plan at $8.34 per month with no interest, but obviously, that deal is off the table. Now the question is, can I go to the At&T store, buy the Nighthawk at $249.99 and move the SIM card from my 815S to the Nighthawk without any problems? Have any of you done this? I moved the SIM from the old Mobley to the 815S without a problem.

Is the Nighthawk for $ 250 that much better than the Netgear Unite Explore 815S for $ 89 ? I have had my Mobley since the plan first started back in 2017.It works good not all that fast but it gets the job none.
Even tho it no longer says never off,It does stay on 24-7.

I have had the Mobley plan from AT&T since June 7, 2017. The ZTE unit still works well. I am interested in purchasing the Netgear Nighthawk modem and installing the original 2017 SIM card into it. The Nighthawks speed and receivability is very impressive. I do not have the codes for my SIM card. Will my card from the ZTE slip right into the Nighthawk and work with no hassles? The SIM has never been in anything but the original ZTE Mobley. Anybody.....

Yes, it will go in but you will need the PUK 1 and 2 to make it work.

$20 Unlimited Data with ZTE Mobley Device
I think , Only if it was locked by att will you need the PUK code and only one .. two is a bonus if you can get it .. if it’s never been locked you can trade devices at will.

The problem with the Mobley SIM is they did a firmware update that adds a PIN to the SIM. PUK1 is needed to reset the PIN.
I have not needed PUK2 but did get both when I requested them a couple years ago.

I went back to the AT&T store today and talked to the manager. I explained my circumstance to him and asked about buying the Nighthawk outright. He said that the Nighthawk MR1100 they have is a 5G model and even though the SIM from my 815S would probably work they would detect that I am using a 5G device on my old 4G LTE plan and change or cancel the plan! He did say that I could probably get away with using the older 4G LTE version of the Nighthawk without any problems!
Still looking for someone that has actually moved their SIM from the 815S to the Nighthawk MR1100.......

My 815S worked great for several months, then began to lose connection to the tower several times a day. I don't know for sure that the problem is with the 815S. It may be an AT&T tower problem, but I don't know any way to tell without replacing it. If I'm gonna spend more money I would rather invest in a higher quality hotspot.

How did you obtain the puk codes from AT&T? Contact customer service? Via phone or internet? Do you need to explain a reason you need them? I am a real neophyte! Any help greatly appreciated......

$20 Unlimited Data with ZTE Mobley Device
It was a couple years ago, I used the Chat Feature and told them I was locked out of the device.

I moved my sim from the Mobley to an 815S several years ago, and last year moved it to the MR1100, no problem. The only thing I noticed was the speeds between the 815S and the MR1100 stayed about the same and reception strength was also the same.

Joe, I originally put my Mobley plan sim in an 815S which worked fine for a while. However I kept it plugged in all the time and wound up with a swollen battery. I purchased a Nighthawk M1 MR1100, removed the battery and have kept it plugged in with no problems, and of course have been enjoying faster speeds because it's simply a better device than the 815S.
I bought my Nighthawk on eBay but I see that Walmart has them for $200.00 LINK
