I rarely watch television anymore. However, in 2021, here's a top 10 list of my favorite streaming sites that I've found stable, entertaining, actually free, and without the need to jump through any/too many hoops to get working:
1)
Pluto TV Watchable stream from a mobile hotspot. Excellent channel guide. Huge list of channels.
2)
Locast Watchable stream from a mobile hotspot. Excellent channel guide. Major networks available. Requires installation of
Location Guard Extension.
Use the Location Guard extension:
A) Install the Location Guard extension for Firefox or Chrome.
B) Go to Options and change Default Level to Use fixed location.
C) Go to Fixed Location and choose a location on the map (can be any major US city). You can either find your desired location manually or enter an address in the search bar.
This allows you to stream antenna television from large major US cities from anywhere. One caveat is there will be a donation advertisement about every 15 or 20 minutes.
3)
Tubi TV Difficult to stream on mobile hotspot during peak broadband hours. Tons of content. Easy navigation to find something to watch.
4)
Popcorn Flix Difficult to stream on mobile hotspot during peak broadband hours. Tons of content. Easy navigation to find something to watch.
5)
USTVGO Watchable stream on mobile hotspot most of the time. Clunky navigation to find something to watch. Many major broadcast networks available.
6)
IMDB TV Tough to stream during peak hours on mobile hotspot. Good navigation. Limited selection but quality content.
7)
Vudu Free selections are limited to mostly older content. Good navigation system. Tough to stream on mobile hotspot during peak hours.
8)
Crackle Sony movies. Decent stream on mobile hotspot. Good selection of older content. Good navigation to find something to watch.
9)
YouTube Free With Ads Movies Tons of content. Difficult to sort through junk to find something of quality to watch. Streams okay on mobile hotspot.
10)
Stirr Wonky navigation. Lots of content. Streams hit or miss on mobile hotspot. Some local live options.
Do you have any free streaming sites that you'd recommend?
Thanks,
