Anyone using the WIFI Ranger/Everest

I am thinking about purchasing the new WIFI Ranger / Everest. Any thoughts on this product?

Of course, I might not be considered unbiased, but I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about the router.

What do you think about this package? Is it worth the money? Is it stable? Easy to setup, reliable, does it have good range? Have you had any problems with it? How would you rate the Ranger?

I think the current sale price is a pretty good deal, but I'll let others comment on how well the device works. It wouldn't be appropriate for me to respond to your other questions.

This is an open notice to those of you who wish to send me private messages (PMs). If you do, please make sure that your account settings permit people to send messages back to you. This morning I have a message from a forum user that I cannot respond to.

I run an Aspen for the indoor unit and an Everest for my outdoor unit. I'm pretty happy with the range and features. The ability to bind multiple internet sources together through the use of the multi-wan feature is really what sold me on it. The failover feature is also nice since I work out of my RV when my family isn't traveling. I'm an IT guy so reliable and redundant connections are important for what I do.

I've only experienced two issues so far, first is a bug in the current b11 firmware that causes random reboots of the router (indoor or outdoor unit). Support/development was quick to jump on the issue and is working to address it in the next release. The second issue was water intrusion (after a few weeks of use) via the cable guides with my Denali that caused it to short out after a major rain storm. It must have been a known issue as support said they use a different system now to prevent that. When I sent the Denali back for replacement I instead asked for a credit/refund which was granted and immediately purchased the Everest which I have been using since March/April. Overall I'm happy with the service, support and the products.
