Arlo Go Cellular Security Camera

Just purchased one of these cameras to keep an eye on the coach while its in storage and to monitor the dogs while we step out for awhile when camping.

Not cheap but hoping it does work out to relieve the stress not being able to monitor things while away. Should arrive within a few days.

Anyone else using one of these?

The title of this thread is "cellular security camera." From the Arlo website it appears that the cellular version of the camera is a "pre-oder" item. Did you purchase the WiFi or cellular versions?

It appears that the "monitoring" cost is only a couple of dollars a month. But I can't find any reference to how much Verizon will charge for adding the cellular camera to your account. Has anyone given you a price for that? Is there a specific plan under which these can be activated?

I ordered mine direct from AT&T as that is who I have my cellular plan with. Camera was $199 and $20 per month to add to my unlimited data plan. If it works as expected I’ll be thrilled. Not sure what you would need ‘monitoring’ for. The camera will send you alerts as activities happen if you so desire.

I'm not sure but it might have been less expensive to purchase a hotspot and add to your plan and get some Wifi Cameras like these that I use to watch the dogs:

I've got three running right now on the hotspot and could add a bunch more, plus
no monitoring fee. Unlike some wifi cameras these are hosted in the U.S. and not China. Good company and good products.
