CloudCam

I have a CloudCam installed in the front of our coach so we can check on our dogs while we're away.

Since this is an IP camera, we can monitor it from anywhere our iPhones using GlobalView app.

The CloudCam requires an WiFi connection to work. We use our Verizon MiFi.

Mind me asking how many gig this takes? Streaming live video through a MiFi seems like you would eat through the gigs in a hurry. No?

Nope, not based on my usage. I suppose if you were constantly viewing a camera then you might chew up data. Check this link: CloudCam data usage.

Wow, this is great. Thanks for the information. I can see one of those in our near future to watch our 4 legged babies.

They are VERY cool. In low light the CloudCam's IR LEDs turn on and in total darkness the image is still very bright.

The newer CloudCams now have two-way audio so you can say "Bad dog" when you see (& hear) them barking.

And if you liked that, try a wireless video doorbell.
